Sound of the Times Started out in 1995 as a karoke provider.  Since then we have stayed at the cutting edge of technology and were in fact the first in the Chicagoland area to utilize 100% digital media.  Our PC driven equipment guarantees a much smoother show with zero dead air time which results in keeping the energy up.  This was an unexpected advantage.  The main reason we switched to digital was simply to reduce the amount of equipment and music needed to bring to each event. 

Our Karaoke hosts specialize in keeping the crowd involved and they encourage people to have a good time whether people are singing or dancing.  We train each and every one of our hosts to properly balance their sound and give them the ability to make each performer sound their best.

Our karaoke library is fast approaching the 50,000 song mark which guarantees there is a song in our library for everyone.  We pride ourselves on keeping out library as up to date as possible.  We even have a respectable Spanish section.
